About Us

Welcome to Di Mare (Italian for “of the sea”) Italian Greyhounds. We are not a kennel, our dogs are raised and live in our home. Life at our house "IS" about the dogs!
                         
Our first IG came into our home in early 1997. Lily, aka Lilypad would soon change our home and lifestyle forever. Please check out Lily’s story on her page.
                           
Starting with Lily, I proceeded to develop an interest in showing in conformation. From that time I have shown Italian Greyhounds with completing 9 champions to date.
                           
I am very dedicated to our breed and it’s future. Our breeding program is one that is worked on carefully. We use the tools of health tests along with knowledge of long time breeders/mentors to help produce quality Italian Greyhounds of sound temperament & structure.

This is The Italian Greyhound Club of America. It is our parent club and the website has a wealth of information into our breed. I have been a member of the IGCA since 2000, and currently serving as a Board of Directors, now in my 3rd term.
