Nina came to us in the summer of 1999. She was bred by friend, mentor and long time breeder of Italian Greyhounds, Kathryn Holmes of Littleluv Igs.

Nina proved quite quickly who would become the “new boss” at our house.

This exquisite little blue fawn girl was a joy to show. She was a bit slow at maturing, but once she did she quickly finished her championship title.

Nina is the foundation bitch for Di Mare Italian Greyhounds. Out of her first litter she produced a Reserve Winners Bitch (Barbie) at our 2002 IG National Specialty dog show.

At 8 1/2 years old Miss Nina still has a blast in the show ring.  She is pictured here winning the 7 to 9 year Veteran Bitch class at our 2007 Italian Greyhound Nationals in Newnan, Ga.

And below is Nina at the 2008  Italian Greyhound National Specialty show where she placed third in both Veterans sweepstakes and regular Veterans classes!  Now at 9 1/2 years old, this little old lady still enjoys the show ring.
